One day after his 35th birthday, which was celebrated at the Agora in Columbus, Randy appeared at the Agora in Cleveland, with Rosanne Cash as the opening act.

The afternoon of the show, Randy was interviewed at the Agora by Fred Griffith, host of the local show Afternoon Exchange. In the photos, Randy is wearing his self-proclaimed “Inspector Clouseau” outfit (Inspector Clouseau was Peter Sellers’ character in Pink Panther.)

Despite a case of laryngitis, which had plagued him for most of the tour, Randy still put a lot of heart into his show, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. He kept up a “smiling, light-hearted rapport with the audience.” Wearing the same burgundy velour track suit and white tennis shoes that he wore on the Fridays TV show two weeks earlier, Randy performed tunes from his latest album, One More Song, as well as his signature Eagles hit, “Take It To The Limit.”

The show was broadcast live on WMMS-FM in Cleveland. While in town, Randy also taped an appearance on the local PM Magazine TV show, which aired on April 8th, 1981.

The review does not mention all of the songs that were played, however based on reviews and live recordings from this tour, Randy usually played the same selection of numbers in his hour-long set. Opening with “Bad Man” and closing with “Hearts On Fire.” Then, coming back with “Deep Inside My Heart” and “One More Song” as encores. His shows also included three of his Eagles songs: “Take It To The Limit,” “Try & Love Again” and “Too Many Hands.”
